Rose of Sharon in Winter

Rose of Sharon

Love the look of the seed pods in winter, but hate the way these things spring up hundreds of baby plants.

Interesting photo! Reminds me of a spider. I have many Rose of Sharons in my yard and all their little off-springs, which I now call.....weeds! But I never noticed them looking like this....I must go out in my yard and look now.

You also called them weeds when I used the flowers as part of the Single/Double Two Things Challenge. My mother-in-law says the difference between a weed and a flower is you pull one and fertilize the other.
